CLINICAL AND HISTOPATHOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS OF OVARIAN FIBROMA IN AN 18 YEAR OLD UNMARRIED FEMALE PATIENT : A RARE CASE REPORT

Abstract
Ovarian tumors in childhood and adolescence are rare, accounting for approximately 1% of all malignant neoplasms in the age range of 0-17yrs. Ovarian fibromas are rare in women under 20 years of age, accounting for approximately 4% of all ovarian neoplasms . We report a case of 18year old unmarried female patient with ovarian fibroma. The patient presented with constipation, increased frequency of micturition and distention of abdomen since 4 months. This case is presented because of its rarity.
