DISFUNCŢIILE ARTICULAŢIEI TEMPORO-MANDIBULARE

Abstract
Disfuncțiile articulaţiei temporo-mandibulare (ATM) Au fost mai puţin studiate în stomatologie. Disfuncția ATM desemnează orice problemă care împiedică funcționarea normală a sistemului complex de mușchi, ligamente, discuri și oase. Majoritatea medicilor stomatologi consideră că disfuncţiile ATM se referă doar la articulaţie şi statusul psihologic al pacientului şi necesită numai tratament medicamentos sau imobilizare. De aceea, obiectivul acestei prezentări este de a accentua necesitatea diagnosticului corect în diferitele etape ale disfuncțiilor ATM de la cele mai simple la cele mai complicate şi mai greu de tratat
