Journal Title: Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 37

Abstract

Animal bite victims run the risk of contracting rabies, which is almost always fatal. Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) effectively prevents the occurrence of rabies in the exposed persons. The Anti Rabies Clinic in the government hospital attached to Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (ARC-MIMS) provides PEP to victims in and around Mandya.
