THE CHLORIDE MINERAL WATERS FROM THE GLODENI LOCALITY, DÂMBOVIŢA
Journal Title: The Annals of Valahia University of Târgoviste, Geographical Series - Year 2008, Vol 8, Issue 1
Abstract
The geotehtonic evolution of the internal extended depression situated in-between the mountains and the plateau area, along the lower Miocene deposits allow to create the hydrogeological conditions who forms the mineral waters, which today they are manifest like a spring with lower water-bearing potential. The lagoon environment which was created at this level and permited to accumulate the evaporite deposits from the gypsum nature and the rock salt. The tectonic movement of the lower Miocene and post Miocene, are build an diapire structure along of a great fracture with regional extension which are started from the Lăculeţe locality and it arrives in the Buştenari locality, Prahova. This fracture is kind of inverse fault, which in some sections has an aspect of mounted fault, the cover degree of the deposits are 2,5Km.On the other hand, this assure the tightness of the hydrostructure of chloride mineral waters on south. The plan of the major fault it is levelled off by a system of transversally faults and they have an essential roll in the appearance of a few points of flows which are known in this area. Because the water-bearing potential of this are lower it is proposed to open the hydrostructure with exploration sampler, which mean while it should be harnessed in balneary treatment and implicitly in a tourist development of the region.
