The place of aid and philantrophy in economy

Abstract
The article presents economic approach to such categories as gift, reciprocity, philanthropy and altruism. It is based on researches of leading economist in these fields. The authors also discussed worthiness of giving and reciprocity in the sense of social capital. The research shows that giving in societies with the most developed social capital has most altruistic character. In the last part of the article the idea and role of SRI is presented for individuals and capital markets.
