Néologismes endémiques, similitudes et dissemblances dans la construction d’un langage commun (emprunts de langue locale et plurilinguisme) entre jeunes adultes marseillais et franciliens

Abstract
Endemic neologisms, similarities and dissimilarities in the construction of a com-mon language (borrowing of local language and plurilingualism) between young adults marseillais and franciliens In order to communicate with each other, young adults known as “popular neighbourhoods” build peer-to-peer neologisms known as slang. Their language practices designate territories and local identities. However, to what extent do the contextual elements influence the construction of a neo-language? We will start with a conceptual analysis of the specificities of the “youth speech” be-fore contextualizing the dynamics implemented in the construction, by the young people of the neighbourhoods, of neologisms. Thus, through the corpus analysis of a dozen exchanges between young people from Paris on the one hand and Marseilles on the other hand, we will try to grasp the origin and the plurality of their respective loans. We will note, from the data coming from our field, the presence of schemas and contextual singularities, which characterize the endemic nature of these languages. In this context, the “popular” class designation is to be questioned to understand the underlying representations and choices made in the construction of a specific local language. To do this, we will rely on the theorization anchored to bring together the observed verbatim concepts that confirm or invalidate our collection of prior data. We will examine the lexical constructions emanating from the cultures present on the northern outskirts of Marseille and the suburbs of Paris. We will also analyse the choices made with regard to identity claims. We will finally study the way in which certain idiomatic expressions return in the so-called common language and make it evolve.
