New records of click-beetles (Coleoptera, Elateridae) from the Kemerovo Area (Western Siberia)
Journal Title: Baltic Journal of Coleopterology - Year 2016, Vol 16, Issue 1
Abstract
New data on the fauna of click-beetles of the Kemerovo Area are given. 14 species are recorded for the first time in the Kemerovo Area; additionally two species (Limonius poneli Leseigneur et Mertlik, 2007 and Neohypdonus tumescens (LeConte, 1853)) are also new for the fauna of Western Siberia. One species (Selatosomus songoricus (Kraatz, 1879)) is reliably recorded for Russia for the first time. Ecological features of the species as well as data about their distribution are given. The present state of the faunistic knowledge of Elateridae of the Kemerovo Area is discussed.

Eight new and little-known leaf-beetles species (Coleoptera: Megalopodidae & Chrysomelidae) for the Kaliningrad region
This paper contains faunistic data on 7 little-known species of Chrysomelidae and 1 species of Megalopodidae, collected between 1998 and 2008 on the territory of the Kaliningrad region, western Russia. Three species, Oul...
Contributions to the knowledge of Stenus (Nestus) species of the crassus group (Insecta: Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Steninae). 1. Four new species from the Russian Far East with taxonomic notes
The subgenus Nestus Rey, 1884 of the genus Stenus Latreille, 1797 is revalidated. The crassus species group is reestablished. Four new Stenus (Nestus) species are described from the Russian Far East: S. (N.) finalis sp.n...
Effects of agricultural abandonment on carabid beetles in paddy fields
We investigated changes in the diversity and species composition of carabid beetles associated with abandonment of rice paddies. In addition, we studied the environmental variables that affect carabid assemblages in thes...
Variation in epigeic carabid fauna (Coleoptera: Carabidae) on differently-treated post-agricultural land
The treatment of post-agricultural areas may influence ecological processes such as succession, and thus influence species occurrence. We studied carabid coenoses on differently treated post-agricultural land. Carabids w...
Role of urban forests as a source of diversity of carabids (Coleoptera: Carabidae) in urbanised areas
We analysed the structure of ground-beetle (Col.: Carabidae) assemblages populating urban forests which differed from one another in the composition of woody plants, soil cover with herbaceous plants, habitat humidity, a...
