Nigeria, Africa’s Largest Economy: International Business Perspective

Abstract

As the Nigerian State is endowed with natural resources, it seeks to partner with other countries, for the purpose of engineering production in other areas that have been neglected from her rich economy. The country’s rich population of over 170 million people serves as the largest market in Africa, thereby providing a great opportunity for international business through partnership under the platform of NEPAD in Nigeria. The objective of this paper therefore, is to provide more information on the available resources in Nigeria where international companies, business men, can engage in international business from her rich resources in Nigeria. The methods adopted are the use of content analysis and empirical study for the purpose of data collection. The paper therefore, recommends that adequate information should be provided, for the purpose of partnership with other countries, international business men and groups that can afford to come into Nigeria to invest.
