NOMINATIONS OF ACTING CHARACTERS IN THE TEXTS OF UKRAINIAN SPELLS

Abstract
The aim of the article is the functioning of nominations of acting images in magic texts of Ukrainian folk spells. To reach the aim it is necessary to do the following tasks: to analyze interaction between a person and Christian elements, cosmic forces, and environments which are connected with magic situations, concentrate on positive life and help to destroy harmful influence; to learn dominant groups of meanings of the actions such as: movement of the object in the space, influence on the object in space; to work on the peculiarities of micro field of the action which is formed by the predicates of the action, giving the texts with spells dynamic and persuasive characteristics; to define the mostly used lexemes for denoting such semantic class. The subject of the research is the nominations of acting characters, and the object of it is the texts of Ukrainian folk spells. For realizing the aim and the tasks of the article we used special linguistic methods: descriptive – to clarify the main definitions of the research, etymological – to define the origin of language means; formula and textual – to interpret the peculiarity of functioning of lexical units in the texts of spells. The mostly used lexemes for denoting acting characters are the nominations of Christian saints: God, Jesus Christ, Virgin Marry, angel, saints etc.; space objects: the Moon, the Sun, stars; environments: fire, water, wind; and the doer of the action and the character the action is done upon. The main nominations of the actions which express the movement of the subject in the space are the verbs goes, flies, runs, etc. and the action upon the object in the space is presented by such nominations: run away, come closer, come and so on. The perspectives of the following researches are based on the learning of the concept sphere of Ukrainian folklore in ethno dialectology and intercultural communication.
