Abstract
Public order: problems and some solutions. The article highlights the problematic issues of ensuring public order and its dependence on public opinion and the mentality of the population. The international experience of participation of the population in maintenance of a public order is analyzed. Attention is drawn to insufficient material incentives for active public behavior to ensure public order. It is pointed out that the regulatory and legal regulation of public relations in the country as a whole, and law enforcement in particular, is inadequate. Specific ways of solving these problems are proposed.
