Abstract
Ogienko M.M. Estimation of the living standard of the population by the index of regional human development. The article examines the assessment of living standards of the population by the index of regional human development. Human development is an important factor in the reform of society in the context of modern information and technological, institutional and infrastructural and socio-humanitarian changes. An important place is a person in public policy and the opportunity to develop each individual citizen. The purpose of this article is to study the assessment of the living standard of the population by the index of regional human development. Despite the existence of a number of methods for assessing the standard of living of the population, the methodology of measuring regional human development is the current methodology for characterizing the living standard of the population of Ukraine at the regional level. An important condition for human development is the safety of life, protection against crime and violence, respect for the rights of dignity, and the provision of medical care. As a result of the study, a detailed analysis of the system of indicators used to characterize the standard of living of the population is grouped into the following six groups: material well-being, employment, health, education and living conditions, social security. The population is the driving force behind the development of any state and its regions. That is why the processes of population reproduction depend on the development of the economy, social sphere and the state of the environment. And this is why the "reproduction of the population" block is on the top priority in the human development assessment system. Categories such as fertility and mortality can act as a result of human development assessment, because they take into account the interaction of many life factors: socio-economic, psychological, environmental, historical and cultural, etc. The birth rate and mortality rates may reflect the state of development of medicine, the social sphere, the state of the environment, working conditions and life. Key words: standard of living, reproduction of the population, social situation, comfortable life.
