Odpowiedzialność cywilnoprawna arbitra a regulaminy sądów polubownych

Abstract
The given article concerns a very controversial issue of civil liability of arbitrators under the respective rules of permanent arbitration courts (and ad hoc arbitration as well). In the light of attempts of arbitration institutions to limit (or exclude) such a liability, this realm appears unequivocal. Therefore, an analysis of the said liability must touch and be focused on the provisions of state law which might be applicable in civil proceedings against an arbitrator. What is more, the article gives an outline as for relationship of rules of arbitration courts which might refer to the two crucial arbitration agreements: arbitration clause and receptum arbitrii.
