ОКРЕМІ АСПЕКТИ ОЦІНКИ СУЧАСНОГО СТАНУ ЗЕМЛЕКОРИСТУВАННЯ В УКРАЇНІ

Abstract
K.A. Kirichenko. Certain aspects of current land-use state assessment in Ukraine. Research results of agricultural lands use in Kharkiv region and all over Ukraine are given in this work. Ukraine constantly faces a number of problematic issues because of having large areas of agricultural lands and it leads to decrease of land use economic effect and necessitates of rural land use analysis. Goal of article. Goal of article is to assess current state of land use efficiency as well as to identify existing threats and problems and development of activities to improve it. Research results. Tendencies of changes in land structure, crop areas and yield of certain agricultural crops have been found. Analysis of farms number by their area, ratio of qualitative land on farm size, concentration of land in large agricultural holdings were conducted. In recent years distribution of agricultural enterprises by land use has been stable. But the main amount of land is concentrated in agricultural holdings of Ukraine. Author has found that arable land area is gradually increasing, and area of hayfields, pastures, fallow and perennial plantations are reduced as a result of excessive plowing of territory leading to disruption of natural soil formation process. Thus the author has identified a number of problems existing in agricultural land use of Kharkiv region and all over Ukraine. Land use in domestic agriculture for years has been characterized by low productivity. Due to high intensity of land use occur: soil depletion, over-compaction, acidification, waterlogging, gleying, river destruction and other environmental problems. Field of application. There were offered measures to improve efficiency of agricultural land use which can be introduced on an ongoing basis, i.e.: transfer of arable land to other types of land, improve ecological balance; transition to intensively extensive development of land use, when measures of progress in science and technology achievements implementation are dominant; creation of conditions for restoration of soil fertility. Feasibility of conducting further research on effectiveness of agricultural land use to improve economic efficiency of land on principles of sustainable land use was confirmed.
