On death penalty issues

Abstract
A nation that reached high level of development and respecting the moral nature of a human begins to doubt in a solvency of death penalty as punishment. Therefore, cancellation of death penalty is possible only after indigenous changes that must be accomplished in the moral development of a particular nation. However, it is wrong to claim that attitude to death penalty is the indication of moral health of society. The reason for retaining or rejecting this punishment by various states today also depends on many other conditions and circumstances: traditions, religion, status of crime, political ideas etc. Sayings of various thinkers, including eminent scientists, lawyers with regard to death penalty are not yet the basis to judge about its morality or immorality. There should be opinion of the whole nation.
