On Small-World and Scale-Free Properties of Complex Network

Abstract
In this paper we study two popular properties exhibited by many complex networks, viz., smallworld and scale-free. The object of this paper is twofold. First, we present a brief historical account on smallworld and scale-free properties of complex network. Second, we adopt complex network approach to study few network datasets in connection with small-world and scale-free properties.
