ON THE NECESSITY OF STRENGTHENING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RELEASE OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

Abstract
The paper analyzes negative influence of decriminalization of responsibility for production of low-quality products and low moral damage compensation in connection with the acquisition of goods of inadequate quality. Taking into account psychological characteristics of a person due to the feeling of stress due to the violation of the buyer's rights and, considering requirements of the current civil procedural law in relation to a fair trial, it is proposed to increase the amount of compensation for non-material damage. Due to the fact that almost half of the goods on the Ukrainian market are of inadequate quality, it is proposed to introduce criminal liability for the production of low-quality products.
