OPRAVDANOST UVOĐENJA NOVIH AUTOBUSKIH LINIJA I REORGANIZACIJA JGP-a NA UŽOJ TERITORIJI GRADA MOSTARA / JUSTIFICATION OF INTRODUCTING NEW BUS LINES AND REORGANIZATION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN THE NARROW TERRITORY IN MOSTAR

Abstract
On the basis of socio-economic data, data about the land use, data of planned economic and social development, data obtained from existing research (O-D surveys, surveys on the quality of public transport) and forecasted transport demand, which was obtained using four phase model (trip generation, trip distribution, mode choice and route assignment), in this article we will attempt to justify the introduction of new bus routes of public transport in the inner territory of the city of Mostar. After that will be presented a proposal solutions of those lines with all its elements, and the proposed solution for a better work organization of CPT. These proposals should respond to citizens desires and service demands of users who were part of this study, and thus to popularize the use of this form of transportation. This will achieve a better mobility of citizens, reduction of congestion on the city roads and reduction of emissions. To achive all mentioned above, it is necessary to desing static and dynamic elements of the newly planned bus lines, and within the organization to provide a way of implementation of good practices from the EU.
