OPTIMIZATION OF MASTERING LECTURAL MATERIAL IN TRAINING “EMERGENCY STATES”

Abstract

Lecture is a basic method of the university training. To maintain an interactive teaching regime, a lecture should have problematic, research character and control both teaching and learning processes. In comparison to a traditional informative lecture, a problematic one gives new knowledge as something unknown, which is necessary “to be opened”, i.e. to be solved, discovered. Currently a postgraduate education pays much attention to self – study learning and videolecturing is of great importance in it. The advantage of video lectures lies in the visual influence of practical training material on the eye, sound, logical, associative and other memory types thus providing the qualitative and quantitative mastering of training materials. This type of lecturing makes possible to adjust a lecturer’s speech rate to interns’ and course audience learning needs. The involving of sound multimedia presentations into the self-study learning will promote to optimization of postgraduate education.
