ОРАТОРИЯ ЮРИЯ ФАТНЕВА «СНЫ ЗЕМЛИ»: ПРОБЛЕМАТИКА И АРХИТЕКТОНИКА

Abstract
The paper deals with the problems and the composition of the oratorio by Y. S. Fatnev, one of the modern Russian-speaking poets in Belarus, a master with a hard literary destiny. It formulates the theme and the main problem of the work; makes an excursion into the history of the concept, which has a direct relationship with the world of music, to clarify the reason for the appeal of Y. S. Fatnev to this genre unconventional for literature. It draws attention to such features of the oratorio “Dreams of the Earth” as associative-editing composition type, free composition structure with the use of strophes of various rhythmic patterns, variety of metrical feet with inevitable amphimacrum and the free verse with unequal number of syllables; it indicates the connection of the oratorio with the whole complex of historical and cultural ideas of Y. S. Fatnev. The contents of the oratorio “Dreams of the Earth” is a poetic confession that has both a poet’s self-esteem and exposing of that self-esteem to himself and his creative work he foresees, and the worry that people could miss its genuine sense.
