У статті на основі архівних матеріалів розглянуто проблеми становлення єврейських професійних шкіл м. Чернігова у 20-30х роках ХХ століття. Визначено соціально-економічні передумови створення та організаційно- педагогічні особливості розвитку цих закладів. Автором встановлено, що серед досягнень професійних шкіл досліджувано- го періоду було органічне поєднання в змісті навчання теорії з практикою, включення стажування та виробничої практики, а також впровадження педагогічних новацій/
