ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE TUTOR IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

From the position of a person-centered campaign aimed at supporting the student's active position, his independence, the tutor's activity in the educational process of the university is revealed. Its role is defined; The essence of the concept «tutor» is revealed; functions and tasks of a tutor of a higher educational institution are analyzed. For this purpose a set of methods was used, in particular: analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison. It has been established that the leading goal of the tutor's activity in a higher educational institution is the formation of a professional capable of his own professional self-development in the future. In the educational process of the university allocate such functions of the tutor: organizational, information, communicative and developing. Conclusions are drawn that, tutorship activity is primarily aimed at individualizing of learning process, encouraging the student study independently the discipline; tutor, implementing the organization of self-determination, self-realization of a person in the profession, helps him in developing an individual educational paradigm, that is, it ensures the success of individual professional endeavors; now in higher educational institutions, the functions of the tutor are dispersed between the curator of the academic group and the supervisors of the theses and master's theses. Prospects for further research are seen in the disclosure of historical aspects of tutorship in Ukraine.
