Abstract
In the article the psychological features of development of children of senior preschool age are exposed time-lagged psychical development. Children of preschool age with a delay of mental development are characterized by insufficient development of perception, inability to focus on significant (main) signs of objects. Fine activity in the system of education and training of children with mental retardation has a corrective orientation in the case when the formation of productive activities corresponds to the specific educational needs of children and occupies a definite place in the complex correction-developing influence.
