ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ВІДТВОРЕННЯ НАЦІОНАЛЬНО-КУЛЬТУРНОГО КОЛОРИТУ ПРИ ПЕРЕКЛАДІ ХУДОЖНІХ ТВОРІВ «ДУБРОВСЬКИЙ», «КАПІТАНСЬКА ДОЧКА», «ПОВІСТІ БЄЛКІНА» О. ПУШКІНА

Abstract
Статтю присвячено проблемі перекладу національно-культурної лексики у творах XIX століття, оскільки саме передача колориту історичних, культурних, національних компонентів однієї мови іншою мовою вимагає особливого підходу з боку перекладача у досягненні еквівалентності та прагматичної адекватності перекладу. Аналіз оригінальних текстів та їхніх фрагментів продемонстрував ключову необхідність у збереженні унікальної лексики того часу з метою досягнення рівноцінного сприйняття вихідною аудиторією, що є обов'язковою умовою для перекладу текстів художнього стилю. The article deals with the issue of translating national and cultural lexis in the 19th century pieces of literature as interpreting of historical, cultural and national identity components of one language into another language demands a particular approach from the translator to achieve equivalence and pragmatic adequacy in the translation. Nowadays the interest to cross-cultural interaction by means of studying national pieces of literature is increasing. Nevertheless, there are issues concerning peculiarity of their national and cultural uniqueness, establishing steady associations with the particular object of reality which form some cultural stereotype. The study deals with the analysis of some pieces from the novels «Captain’s Daughter», «Dubrovsky» and «The Belkin Tales» that are monuments of Slavic culture and their translation into Ukrainian. Though the Ukrainian and the Russian languages are unique, cross-language interaction was observed in the process of their development which is logically reflected, in the first place, in lexical and semantic system. Having completed the comparative analysis of the texts of «Dubrovsky» by A. Pushkin in the Russian and the Ukrainian languages, the conclusion has been made that O. Honchar preserved denotative and connotative information and managed to put into words national and cultural uniqueness of «communicative and functional idea». I. Senchenko, the translator of novel «Captain’s Daughter» managed to picture the life of common people, peculiarities of the characters, their ways of thinking, the history of these people in general, but their language and images were simplified. The most essential in this novel: love, fortune, the mission of the person in this world, the history of a person and population demands not only profound knowledge of the original language and author’s style but also the history of those times to help the translated text acquire greater level of equivalence. M. Stelmakh in «The Belkin Tales» preserved esthetic value and artistic and emotional impression though with some alterations and editing. Various translators resort to the works by A. Pushkin which gives an opportunity to trace the level of penetration into the original text and understanding of the pieces of literature. Translation into Ukrainian language embraces one of the stages in the history of translating Pushkin’s prose in Ukrainian literary translation. The analysis of the original texts and their pieces has shown the essential necessity to preserve unique vocabulary of those times for their equivalent perception by the target audience that is a compulsory condition for translation of the belles-lettres style texts which also assists in breaking cultural barriers and effectively facilitates cross-cultural communication.
