Abstract
The article is sanctified to research of Turkish phraseological units with words «fire» and «water», to principle of their use. The special attention is spared to the values, what the Turkish native speakers provide with these symbols: «fire», «water» . Description of the most current phraseological units is given with words «fire», «water» and examples are given.
