ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ЗМАГАЛЬНОЇ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ БОРЦІВ ГРЕКО-РИМСЬКОГО СТИЛЮ

Abstract
Purpose: to determine peculiarities of competitive activity of high-qualified Greco-Roman wrestlers before and after the changes of the competition rules. Material and methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodical literature; analysis of videotapes of high-qualified Greco-Roman wrestlers’ competitive bouts (n=127); mathematical statistics methods. Results: the results of analysis of videotapes of competitive bouts showed that athletes began to use complex, resultative and spectacular techniques – the drop-back throws and the hip throws more often after the changes of the competition rules. So, the index of the effectiveness of the technical and tactical actions was 5,1 point, that is 0,6 point more than before the changes of the competition rules, and the index of the efficiency has grown up to 5,9 % and become 65,5 %. It is found that the high-qualified wrestlers have quite high effectiveness of the technical arsenal for two periods of a bout. The analysis of the video materials has shown that the changes of the competition rules have influenced the activity of the wrestlers. The wrestling has become more mobile and intense. But the previous years’ rules provided the standard positions that defined a bout result. Therefore the athletes’ technical arsenal appeared low and it has influenced the index of the quantity and the quality of the technical and tactical actions. Conclusion: the results of the conducted research show that there is a need to improve the Greco-Roman wrestlers’ the training process in view of the changes of the competition rules.
