OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE OF AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF DUAL AGENCY PROBLEMS

Abstract
The article investigates the ownership structure of agricultural companies Ukraine in the context of twin agency problems. The analysis of the ownership structure of agricultural companies in Ukraine has been done. The significant concentration of ownership in the companies is proved. It is being explicated due to the use of this concentration as a tool to protect the interests of investors amid weak institutional protection. It is proved that concentration of ownership is used today as a substitute for institutional investor protection since the later remains very weak.
