Paradigmatic relations in the tennis terms terminology

Abstract
The article deals with the synonymy, homonymy and antonymy in the English tennis terminol- ogy and their influence on the term system. Special attention is given to polysemy and the cases of homonymy. Polysemy has been qualified as inner- and intersystem. Homonymy is treated as an inter-branch phenomenon. The detailed classification of terms-synonyms has been presented and the reasons for synonymy have been singled out. The relations of antonyms have been studied on structural and semantic levels.
