Parameter Optimization and Simulation of Powertrain System of Pure Electric Passenger Vehicle

Abstract
In order to improve the motor operation efficiency and the driving range of pure electric passenger vehicle,the parameter was matched for the power transmission system in the design process of pure electric passenger vehicle. Two kinds of different power transmission schemes( fixed gear ratio and two-speed) were proposed. Taking the driving range as the objective and the dynamic performance requirements as the constraints,the speed ratios of the transmission system were optimized with genetic algorithm. Models were made by MATLAB / Simulink and the driving cycle was simulated for CYCECEEUDC. The results show that on the condition of meeting the requirements of the power performance,the driving range is extended by21. 3% for the pure electric passenger vehicle equipped with two-speed transmission.
