Pathology of Research Activities in South Khorasan Province Gas Company Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Statistical Analysis Methods

Abstract
In today's world, research and development is one of the most important factors in the progress and development of societies. Employees of an organization can help improve organizational performance and growth by conducting various research. The present study examines research barriers from the perspective of employees of the South Khorasan Province Gas Company in 1402. In addition, it also studies the indicators and criteria of research barriers based on the opinions of experts and managers in the research field. The present study is of a descriptive-analytical type and its statistical population includes all employees of the South Khorasan Province Gas Company. In this study, based on statistical methods, the number of respondents is 90 people. The data collection tool is a questionnaire including demographic information and 31 questions in 6 areas of management barriers, empowerment barriers, barriers due to administrative regulations, personal barriers, social barriers and barriers to research facilities. The validity of the questionnaire has been confirmed by experts and specialists in the relevant field and its reliability has been confirmed by the Cronbach's alpha method. The data obtained from this questionnaire have been analyzed using SPSS software. In addition, experts in the research field have made a comparison between the criteria and sub-criteria of the barriers affecting the lack of research of employees of the South Khorasan Province Gas Company using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and using the EXPERT CHOICE software.
