PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR STUDENTS’ TRAINING IN MUSICAL EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

This article presents the problem being relevant to the contemporary music education, the problem of improving the quality of future music teachers’ training in musical educational activity, in particular. The purpose of the article to substantiate the pedagogical conditions which will allow us to improve the quality of the music teacher training, who is to be able to involve school children into musical arts, to enrich their spiritual world and the system of artistic values. The first reason for pedagogical conditions has taken into consideration the fact that the activity of music teachers is defined by complexity and requires professional versatility, mastery of vocal, choirmaster, instrumental and performing skills, the skills of musical hermeneutics, the basics of lecturing activities, methods of their application while working with children of different ages, etc. The fullness of tasks negatively affects the realization of the main aim to be achieved by a music teacher. Therefore, the first condition for quality improvement of students training in implementing musical and educational functions are defined, the priority being given to the solution of this problem in the system of musical-pedagogical education. The substantiation of the second pedagogical condition presupposed taking into consideration the importance of spontaneous factors in the formation of schoolchildren’s musical interests and tastes, including the role of the mass media, the Internet and social networks in the arrangement of the pupil’s music and entertainment space. Awareness of the importance to adjust this process makes it expedient to include the tasks related to extra-curricular music education into the educational content intended for the students. The third pedagogical condition is stipulated by the need to strengthen the integrative processes in the education of a competent professional. There are described different approaches to solve this problem, in particular the cluster of related disciplines, which involves the developing of software and methodological support as well as teacher training; implementation of interdisciplinary relations aimed at the formation of integrated skills, such as singing to one’s own accompaniment, the presentation of music work. The opportunities for interdisciplinary coordination as the method of formation of ordered relationships between group and individual lessons with a relatively free planning for the training process are discussed. The ground for the fourth condition is stipulated by the fact that changes in the socio-cultural sphere of modern society have become increasingly rapid and unpredictable. This allows us to determine the importance of the methodical support of student’s training as an independently minded, creative person, capable of constant self-education and self-improvement. Thus, pedagogical conditions for efficiency increase of students training in carrying out their musical educational educational activity are getting their scientific background.
