Performance Analysis of Rotating Induction Machines for Air-Gap Eccentricity & Rotor Bar Faults using Finite Element Method

Abstract

In this paper analysis used to diagnose Air-gap eccentricity and broken rotor bar fault especially in high voltage Rating machine. The analysis carried out to evaluate the performance of the machine during operation period. The distortion increasing in field Distribution with broken rotor bar Reduce the efficiency of the motor The prediction of performance during Transient and quasi-static can be computed With latest finite element technique With simulation .the computational Result of healthy motor of same rating to determine the error free result of faults.
