Journal Title: Jurnal Ilmiah Dinamika Rekayasa - Year 2019, Vol 15, Issue 2
Abstract
In order to improve the service of the population area, Purbalingga regency builds a new building of Department of Population and Civil Registry. With the function as an office, this two-story building includes a building with risk category II which according to the rules must have a minimum level of performance Life Safety (LS) for the earthquake 500 years. This study aims to determine the performance of the building Department of Population and Civil Registry Purbalingga district. The study was conducted using pushover analysis which is a popular technique because of its ease, which is widely used to evaluate both new and old buildings. The results of the study showed that when the performance point was reached, the base shear strength was 609,510.9 kg and 687,598.1 kg on the X and Y-axis respectively. The deviation ratios were 0.71% on the X and 0 axes respectively, 85% on the Y axis. The value of the two is less than 1% indicating that the performance of the Purbalingga District Office of Population and Civil Registry building is at the level of Immediate Occupancy (IO) where there is no significant damage to the structure, strength, and rigidity of approximately almost the same as before the earthquake. Nonstructural components are still in place and most still work if the utility is available. The building can remain functional and undisturbed with repair issues. It can be concluded that the design of the building of the Department of Population and Civil Registry of Purbalingga Regency has fulfilled the rules of seismicity
