Abstract

Money from a Child’s Perspective The article is a research report. The research was carried out with third grade students of elementary school by the author of this article. The purpose of research was to reconstruct children’s experiences related to money. Money is perceived here as an empirical phenomenon described from the perspective of a child. The research material consists of written statements of 8/9-year-old children. Analysis of children’s creations led to the emergence of the resulting space consisting of four fields: “positive”, “negative”, “neutral” and “ambivalent”. This resulting space is money treated as the empirical phenomenon with a para-economic slope.
