Plan zrównoważonej mobilności miejskiej jako kompleksowe podejście do planowania mobilności w miastach

Abstract
The paper presents the fundamental legal regulations for the transport plans in Poland. Those standards are compared with the EU guidelines for planning sustainable mobility, defined in current proposal. This made it possible to identify the similarities and differences between the two conceptions. The planning stages of sustainable mobility and the structure of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) were presented. On this basis, the SUMP is an expression of a comprehensive approach to the planning of urban mobility. The current transport plans enacted by local authorities selected Polish cities can serve as a basis to develop plans to SUMP, but after a significant shortening of the diagnostic part after filling them about issues related to pedestrian, bicycle and automobile and mobility management.
