পণ্যে ভেজাল প্রতিরোধে ইসলাম : পরিপ্রেক্ষিত বাংলাদেশ|Preventing Adulteration of Commodities in Islam Bangladesh Perspective

Abstract
Currently, mixing adulterants with foods and drinks has reached the stage of epidemic in Bangladesh. This ill practice, a blatant violation of human right to health, is liable to cause different types of disease. Scrupulously considering the appalling condition of food adulteration Bangladesh government has taken various steps which unfortunately has meet the fate of dismay. Given this backdrop this research article is designed to elucidate the stance of Islam in preventing food adulteration. The author attempts to portray the threat to public health resulting from food adulteration on the basis of reports and information published in various newspapers. The paper ventilates that Islam has voiced severe warning against food adulteration and adoption of immorality in commercial practices. The author benignly submits that Islam has declared rewards for the virtuous businessmen and severe penalty for the immoral traders. Moreover, he advocates that effective embodiment of the canons of Islam into statutes and their efficacious implementation can regulate food adulteration substantively. সারসংক্ষেপ: বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশে পণ্যদ্রব্যে ভেজাল মিশ্রণের বিষয়টি মহামারী আকারে দাঁড়িয়েছে। পণ্যদ্রব্যে ভেজাল মিশ্রণে মানুষের স্বাস্থ্যগত অধিকার ক্ষুণ্ন হচ্ছে এবং তারা ভেজাল খাদ্য ও পানীয় গ্রহণের ফলে নানা রকমের রোগ-ব্যাধির শিকার হচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশ সরকার সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়গুলোকে গুরুত্ব দিয়ে ভেজাল প্রতিরোধে বিভিন্ন পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেছে। কিন্তু তা যথার্থ ফল বয়ে আনেনি। এই বিষয়টি বিবেচনায় এনে ইসলামের দৃষ্টিতে ব্যবসায়ে ভেজাল মিশ্রণের সমস্যা সামধানে করণীয় বিষয়ে আলোকপাত করা উদ্দেশ্যে প্রবন্ধটি রচিত হয়েছে। এই প্রবন্ধে বর্ণনামূলক পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করা হয়েছে। পণ্যদ্রব্যে ভেজাল মিশ্রণের ফলে জনস্বাস্থ্য যে হুমকির মুখে পড়েছে তা সংবাদপত্রে প্রকাশিত রিপোর্ট ও তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। প্রবন্ধ থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে যে, ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্যে অনৈতিকতা অবলম্বন ও পণ্যদ্রব্যে ভেজালের মিশ্রণের ব্যাপারে ইসলাম কঠোর হুঁশিয়ারি উচ্চারণ করেছে। ইসলাম সৎ ব্যবসায়ীদের পুরস্কৃত করার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে এবং ভেজাল ব্যবসায়ীদের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেয়ার নির্দেশ দিয়েছে। ভেজাল প্রতিরোধে ইসলাম যে-নির্দেশনা দিয়েছে তা আইন হিসেবে বিধিবদ্ধ করে বাস্তবায়ন করলে বাংলাদেশের ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্যকে ভেজালমুক্তকরণ সম্ভব।
