Abstract
The novel Fear by Oleg Postnov combines the features of postmodernism and the Russian and the world classics. The article analyzes how their combination defines the poetics of landscapes embedded in them, how the landscapes convey the mindset of characters, their psychology, as well as serve modeling, informative and other purposes in the novel.
