POLITICAL ANALYSIS AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF POLITICAL JOURNALISM

Abstract
The article investigates the political analysis and characteristics of its application in journalism. Attention is fo-cused on the basic components of the political analysis – analysis of the political situation and forecast on its develop-ment, disclosed types and situational analysis and political forecasting. The author considers methodological ap-proaches and methods to be employed by the journalist-analyst in policy analysis.
