Abstract
Languages are and will always be the connection link and the communication point between Europe and its citizens. This is the reason why the linguistic policies are an important issue to which was granted, shall be granted and will be given a special importance in Europe, and not only. In order to protect and to promote Languages, EU implemented a number of linguistic policies to be promoted in its actions, despite all the challenges.
