Pomoc publiczna dla przedsiębiorstw – czy warto jej udzielać?

Abstract
Artykuł poświęcony jest różnym aspektom zagadnienia pomocy publicznej udzielanej przedsiębiorstwom przez instytucje państwowe. W pierwszej części przedstawiono definicję i rozumienie pomocy publicz-nej w ramach wspólnego rynku europejskiego w optyce zarówno ekonomicznej jak i prawnej wraz z zaakcentowaniem przykładów form udzielania. Następnie omówiony został zakres kontrowersji, które występują wokół tej idei wspierania przedsiębiorczości, a także argumentów zwolenników takich rozwiązań polityki gospodarczej państwa. Charakterystyka ogólna bieżącej sytuacji w Europie i Polsce obrazuje czytelnikowi w syntetyczny sposób skalę i strukturę owego zjawiska gospodarczego.
