Porównanie oceny żywotności nasion sosny zwyczajnej wykonanej metodą rentgenowską i metodą kiełkowania

Abstract
Seed viability is considered to be the main criterion for verification of their quality. The aim of the study was to compare the results of the assessment of Scots pine seed viability by two methods: X-ray and germination. It has been shown that the application of the digital X-ray the viability of seeds was skewed. The difference between the two methods was the higher the lower viability of the seeds exhibited by germination process. The real seeds viability decreased by an average of 1.06% for every 1% decrease in seeds vitality determined by X-ray.
