Abstract
According to the author of the opinion, the discussed draft resolution meets formal requirements set out in the Act on Sejm Investigative Committees and the Standing Orders of the Sejm. On the other hand, the draft resolution partly does not conform the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. Moreover the author draws attention to a small amount of time remaining until the end of the 8th term of the Sejm. Due to this fact the possibility to examine the case by the investigative committee in question are limited. The author emphasizes that the contents of the draft resolution is inconsistent with its explanatory statement, because the latter suggests in a broader scope of case to be examined by the committee.
