POSSIBILITIES FOR THE USE OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY IN INSURANCE

Abstract
The possibilities, perspectives and risks of application of blockchain technology in insurance are considered in the paper, on the basis of SWOT analysis, the advantages and disadvantages of the process of investing the insurer's free funds in cryptocurrencies are explored. Outlined the main obstacles to the use of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in the insurance business.
