Abstract
In their everyday practice medical staff have to manage agitated patients and their aggressive behaviour, which is often the result of their anxiety and fear of their ailments, as well as the necessity to wait for medical help. The article attempts to present the management of an aggressive patient, especially at an emergency department and admission room.
