Abstract
This paper deals with the evaluation of landscape potential for forestry in Minčol microregion, which is here understood as the capability to provide high quality wood material while maintaining its functional structures. The objective of paper is to analyze the landscape potential of Minčol microregion for forestry in homogeneous square grid based on the methodology of the degree determination of significance and standardization (weighting) of 5 main classification features (types of the current landscape, forest age structure, production ability of soils, forest categorization and real inclination of geo - relief). on that basis, determine the degree of suitability of this potential and its spatial differentiation within the microregion
