ПОВЕСТЬ А.П. ЧЕХОВА «СКУЧНАЯ ИСТОРИЯ» (ИЗ РУКОПИСНОГО НАСЛЕДИЯ А.П. СКАФТЫМОВА)

Abstract
This work is a publication of systematized notes from the manuscript collection of A.P. Skaftyamov, dedicated to the purposeful examination of the inner-composition of the story. Chekhov's Boring Story, as well as understanding of its content in the context of the prose that precedes The Seagull, and in relation to the story of L. Tolstoy The Death of Ivan Ilyich are presented. In the introductory article, all the preparatory materials related to the stated topic are characterized from the side of the content, the order of their location is motivated, thereby revealing the logic of the development of research thought as applied to the study of a specific artistic phenomenon.
