POWERS OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES: PUBLIC-MANAGEMENT ASPECT

Abstract
The article deals with theoretical study of the concept of “powers of local self-government body” and its essence is clarified. The analysis of scientific literature, which reveals the content of this concept, is underway. The views of Ukrainian scholars on this issue are considered, various approaches to the definition of the specified term and its constituent elements are analyzed. The results of the study provide a description of the main components of the concept of “powers of local self- government body”, clarify its content and consider its relationship with other concepts used in modern public management terminology.
