Abstract
Rules of thumb for concrete construction repair. T he necessity and e ven i nevitability o f the construction repairinig has been shown. The construction repair as a sustainability development has been considered. In construction activity – in practice “on site” – a lot of rules of thumb are used. Those rules often seems to be far away from a scientific statement, however they are a consequence of scientific deliberation. In this context the standard PN-EN 1504 could be treated as the set of rules for concrete construction repair. However the standard is in many cases not easy, intricated and seems to be unfriendly to the readers. On that basis a premise has been shown to elaborate the comment to the standard: Naprawa i ochrona konstrukcji z betonu. Komentarz do PN-EN 1504; PWN, 2017, by L. Czarnecki, P. Łukowski, A. Garbacz. In this paper author attempted to formulate rules of thumb for concrete construction repairs. The rules has been presented on the backdrop of scienceengineering relation as the highlights complemented with suitable pictures.<br/><br/>
