PRECEDENTPHENOMENON IN THE LANGUAGE OF TURKISH POETRY

Abstract
The article is devoted to the researching of precedent phenomena in the language of Turkish poetry, their types and characteristics of the cultural and historical implications of their use. The purpose of the paper is to show how the precedent phenomena function in the precedent text using Turkish poetry texts of XX century as a case study. As an example it is given F.N. Chsmlibel’s poem «The shepherd’s brook». under the precedent phenomena we understand specific language units that meaningful for an individual because of their informative and emotive values; well-known to a wide milieu surrounding the individual, including his predecessors and contemporaries; and allusion to which is constant in the spoken discourse of the individual. Relevant examples are given to prove that the precedent names are used in the precedent texts; and precedent texts, in their turn, become the ground for lots of the texts that express the social group perception. The analysis of precedent texts proves the inuence of national world picture on the social one through the use of different national precedent phenomena such as names, events as well as remakes and adaptations of well-known opuses and folklore genres to social realities. Precedent phenomena become a basis for conceptual emphasis of the meaningful characteristics through the prism of associations.
