Precision magnetic attachments. A literature review

Abstract
Foregoing researches about precision attachments like magnets conclude in significant progress in this field. The aim of this study is cognition of direction of development and possibilities of using this type of precision attachments in overdentures supported by teeth or implants. Furthermore short characteristic of magnet and keeper, including advantages and disadvantages as well as the influence on patient health was introduced. Major advantages as the permanent attractive force, the maintainability of hygiene and easy usage for patients, as well as a wide range of indications cause that magnetic precision attachments are worthy recommendation in nowadays prosthodontics.<br/><br/>
