Preclinical evaluation of cardio protective activity of Grewia hirsuta on doxorubicin induced cardiotoxicity in rats
Journal Title: Indian Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biotechnology - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 6
Abstract
In this study, an attempt was made to investigate preclinical evaluation of cardio protective activity of Grewiahirsuta induced cardio toxicity in rats. The phytochemical screening was done for the selected plant. The crude drug powder extraxts of the roots of Grewiahirsuta plant were taken for the study. The crude drug composes of Proline, Serine, Glutamic acid, Phenylalanine, Isoleucine, Lysine, β-sittosterol, and the chemical compounds, A-amyrin, β-amyrin, Foradol.
